Botswana, Mozambique and Tanzania become the final three qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

A scrappy goal by Omaatla Kebatho proved priceless as it gave minnows Botswana a shock 1-1 draw away to seven-time champions Egypt on Tuesday, and 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.

Host nation Morocco, defending champion Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Algeria, Congo, Cameroon, Senegal and Angola were already qualified before the penultimate round of qualifiers.

Botswana, Mozambique and Tanzania claimed the final berths in next year’s African Cup of Nations finals as the qualifying competition played to an exciting conclusion on Tuesday. Botswana pulled off an unlikely draw away against Egypt to make sure of the point they needed to qualify for the second time while Tanzania edged Guinea 1-0 at home in Dar-es-Salaam.

Tanzania upset Guinea 1-0 to qualify for the Africa Cup on Nations at the visitors' expense on Tuesday. Botswana and Mozambique grabbed the other two places to complete the lineup for the 24-team tournament in Morocco.
