Emma Raducanu won in her first match since September to get Great Britain off to a winning start at the Billie Jean King Cup.

In her first match at the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup Finals, Raducanu played against Jule Niemeier, who was a perfect opponent for her. She bested the German in Chicago in 2021, even though Niemeier retired from that match, and Raducanu's opponent was also coming into this meeting on a three-match losing streak.

Great Britain will take on Germany in their first-round match of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals on Friday, November 15, 2024. The first match of the tie is scheduled to start at 4pm GMT, followed by the second singles match and then the doubles rubber later in the day.
