SOUTHAMPTON, Bermuda (AP) — Justin Lower had another 6-under 65 without taking advantage of the par 5s on Friday, giving him a two-shot lead going into the weekend at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Ryder shot a personal-best 62 in the second round of the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship on Friday, and that’s with a bogey on his closing hole. He was nine shots better than his even-par round of 71 on the first day and he sits at 9 under, just three back of the lead with 36 holes to go.

A string of four birdies over five holes to open the back nine propelled American Justin Lower to a 65, matching his round from the previous day and giving him a two-stroke lead through two rounds at Bermuda Championship,

Andrew Novak also shot a 62 on a day when the wind became ferocious toward the end of the round at Port Royal, with gusts topping 40 mph. Novak caught a break on the 18th when his tee shot was rolling back down a cart path and hopped onto the grass.
